Welcome to the Jacobs-MC Affiliate Program (“Program”)! By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“ToS”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not participate in the Program.

1. Overview of the Affiliate Program

Jacobs-MC, operated by Jacobs Integrity Technologies, LTD (“we,” “us,” or “Jacobs-MC”), manufactures professional water leak detection equipment. The Affiliate Program allows Affiliates (or  “you”) to create and submit videos showcasing our products in action. We may use these videos in our advertising campaigns. If a customer purchases a product after clicking an ad featuring your video, you will earn a commission on that sale, subject to the terms below.

In addition to submitting videos for our ad campaigns, you can promote Jacobs-MC products on your own through social media, websites, or other channels using your unique affiliate link or code. If someone clicks your link or uses your code and makes a purchase on our website (www.jacobs-mc.co), you’ll earn a commission on that sale. All promotions must follow our guidelines, including disclosing that you earn a commission, to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Eligibility

•  You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.

•  You must be a customer of Jacobs-MC, meaning you have purchased a Sniffer430, Lixener30, or other Jacobs-MC product.

•  You must comply with all applicable laws, including US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines for affiliate marketing, which require disclosing your affiliate relationship in any promotional content.

•  Jacobs-MC reserves the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at our sole discretion.

3. How the Program Works

•  If selected as an Affiliate, we will provide you with a unique affiliate link or code.

• Video Submission: You create and submit videos demonstrating the use of Jacobs-MC products for water leak detection. Videos must meet our quality and content guidelines (see Section 4). Please send your videos to our team at team@jacobs-mc.co

•  Ad Use: We may select your video for use in our advertising campaigns (e.g., social media, website, or other platforms). 

•  Tracking Sales: When a customer clicks on our ad with your video, they will be re-directed to your affiliate link. We will track any purchases made on our website from traffic that came from your affiliate link, and credit you with a commission.

•  Commission Structure:

•  You earn a commission per product sale (excluding taxes, shipping, and refunds) for each qualifying purchase made through your affiliate link/code. Commission totals are listed when you log in at your account at https://login.jacobs-mc.co/

•  Commissions are paid only on completed, non-refunded purchases.

•  Commission payouts are made 30 days after a qualifying purchase is completed.

You can log in to your account at any time at https://login.jacobs-mc.co/ to see your earned commissions and configure your account and payment settings.

•  Tracking Period: Your affiliate link/code will track purchases made within 30 days from the date the customer clicks your link or uses your code.

4. Video Content and Submission Guidelines

•  Content Requirements:

•  Videos must clearly demonstrate the use of Jacobs-MC products (e.g., Sniffer430 or Lixener30) in a professional, accurate, and safe manner.

•  Videos must not contain offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content, including profanity, illegal activities, or false claims about our products.

•  Videos should align with our brand values and showcase the ease, accuracy, and effectiveness of our equipment, as outlined in our product documentation.

•  Quality Standards:

•  Videos must be clear, well-lit, and audible, with a minimum resolution of 1080p

•  Videos shared to Jacob’s-MC with the intended use of being promoted as a video ad should be no longer than 2 minutes, unless otherwise approved.

•  Submission Process:

•  Please submit videos by emailing them to team@jacobs-mc.co, It may be best to save the video in a cloud based storage system such as Google Drive or Dropbox, then send us the link to this. 

•  By submitting a video, you grant Jacobs-MC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the video for advertising and promotional purposes.

•  Approval: We reserve the right to approve or reject videos at our discretion. If your video is rejected, we will provide feedback where possible.

Submitted videos will be tested in our advertising campaigns. However, this does not guarantee the consistent use of your video. Jacob’s-MC may decide to stop promoting your video in advertisements at any time. (This decision may be made based on how your video performs in our campaigns compared to other videos.) We reserve the right to use your submitted video without linking to your Affiliate Link.

5. Affiliate Responsibilities

•  You agree to:

•  Promote Jacobs-MC products in a truthful and ethical manner.

•  Disclose your affiliate relationship in all promotional content (e.g., by including a statement like “I earn a commission if you purchase through my link”). This disclosure statement is not required for videos submitted to us for advertising.

•  Comply with all applicable laws, including FTC guidelines and any local regulations if promoting outside the US.

•  You must not:

•  Use your affiliate link/code in spam, unsolicited emails, or misleading advertisements.

•  Make false or exaggerated claims about Jacobs-MC products.

•  Engage in “cookie stuffing,” link cloaking, or other deceptive practices to artificially inflate commissions.

6. Commission Payments

•  Commissions are calculated based on verified sales tracked through your affiliate link/code.

•  Payments are made via PayPal or bank transfer 30 days after a qualifying purchase is completed, provided your earned commissions meet the minimum threshold of $50.

•  You are responsible for any taxes associated with your commissions. Jacobs-MC will provide a 1099-MISC form for US-based affiliates if your annual commissions exceed $600, as required by the IRS.

•  If a customer returns a product or a sale is refunded, any associated commission will be deducted from your future payments.

•  International affiliates may be subject to additional fees or currency conversion costs, depending on the payment method.

7. Intellectual Property

•  You may use Jacobs-MC-approved promotional materials (e.g., logos, product images) solely for the purpose of promoting our products as part of the Affiliate Program.

•  You do not gain any ownership or rights to Jacobs-MC’s intellectual property, including our trademarks, logos, or product designs.

•  By submitting a video, you confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to the content in the video and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., music, images, or other copyrighted material).

8. Termination

•  Either party may terminate this agreement at any time.

•  Jacobs-MC may terminate your participation in the Program immediately if you:

•  Violate these ToS or any applicable laws.

•  Engage in fraudulent, unethical, or misleading promotional practices.

•  Misrepresent Jacobs-MC products or our brand.

•  Upon termination, you must cease using all affiliate links/codes and Jacobs-MC promotional materials. Any unpaid commissions will be paid out according to the payment schedule, unless termination is due to a violation of these ToS.

9. Limitation of Liability

Jacobs-MC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Affiliate Program. Our total liability to you will not exceed the commissions earned by you in the 12 months prior to any claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Jacobs-MC harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your breach of these ToS, your promotional activities, or the content of your submitted videos.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

•  These ToS are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

•  Any disputes arising from these ToS will be resolved through negotiation or, if necessary, in a court of competent jurisdiction in Melbourne, Florida.

12. Modifications to the ToS

Jacobs-MC may update these ToS at any time. We will notify you of changes via email or through our website. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated ToS.
